Growing Identity

Growing Identity is inspired by the organic shapes found in microscopic images of wood fibres. Their translucency, their distinct identity and their organic appearance are the foundation of the design.

Those elements are translated into a table lamp through weaving and knitting, recreating the translucent, organic shapes found in nature. The method connects natural structures with craftsmanship and lets the beauty of both show.

The solid base emphasises the lightness of the design while supporting its form as a contrasting, solid element. The lamp embodies individuality: every part contributes to its overall shape and identity.
